COMMITTEES
The SC Food Policy Council recently developed new committees that are focused on different substantive topics of interest within the food system. The goal of having committees is to collectively develop a robust state-level food equity policy platform.
SC Local Food Committee
Participants will discuss and prioritize the gaps, challenges and opportunities in the SC local food system (farm & garden to table) relating to food systems. This committee provides a clarify the role that the Rural Resource Coalition of SC plays in bridging the gaps and decreasing the impact of the challenges.
